Morro Bay Motorcyclist Killed in Cambria Traffic Accident on Highway 1 near Ardath Drive ID’d as Klayton Kidd

Cambria, California (May 27, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol has released the name of the Morro Bay motorcyclist who died following a traffic accident on Highway 1, south of Ardath Drive in Cambria on May 15.

75-year-old Klayton H. Kidd died at the scene in a collision with Jeep in the southbound lanes of the highway Friday afternoon. The initial report indicated that the Jeep made a U-turn into the pathway of the motorcycle at the time of the collision.

Meanwhile, officials said intoxication was not a factor in the wreck.
