George Rowlands Fatal Camarillo Motorcycle Accident on Petit Street near Dawson Drive
Ventura County, California (May 22, 2020) – The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the Simi Valley motorcyclist who died after he collided with a car on Petit Street, near Dawson Drive in Camarillo Wednesday afternoon.
George Rowlands, 60, died at the scene after he crashed into a two-door coupe driven by a 73-year-old Porter Ranch man on the roadway at around 12:24 p.m. May 20.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Rowlands was ejected from his bike upon the impact.
Limited details about the wreck were established at the time of the report.
The fatal accident remains under investigation by the CHP.
