52-Year-Old Victor Gonzalez Killed in Bakersfield Accident on East Panama Lane, April 6

Fashawn Pearson Arrested After Fatal Bakersfield DUI Car Crash on East Panama Lane

Bakersfield, California (May 6, 2020) – The Kern County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the victim who died in an alleged DUI car accident that occurred on East Panama Lane in Bakersfield last month at approximately 3:46 a.m. April 6.                                

A Toyota operated by 52-year-old Victor Gonzalez, west on Panama Lane was struck from behind by Audi that was heading in the same direction.

Gonzalez’s vehicle rolled over after it slammed into a pole and caught fire.

Sadly, Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the crash site.

25-year-old Fashawn Pearson from Bakersfield was determined to have been driving under the influence before the crash.

Meanwhile, Pearson was arrested for DUI, resulting in death and gross vehicular manslaughter.
