2 Vehicles Struck and Killed Bicyclist on Pacific Coast Highway

Authorities Investigating Fatal Wilmington Bicycle Crash on Pacific Coast Highway

Wilmington, California (May 7, 2020) – A male bicyclist was hit and killed by two vehicles Tuesday morning in the area of Wilmington, the Los Angeles police reported.

The man, who appeared to have been crossing the roadway against a red light, was hit by an eastbound vehicle at around 5:25 a.m. on May 5.

The bicyclist was ejected from the bike upon the impact and was hit by another westbound vehicle in the process.

The motorists of the two involved automobiles stopped and cooperated with the law.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

The accident remains under an active investigation.
