1 Hospitalized after Castro Valley Motorcycle Accident on Heyer Avenue near Cull Canyon Road
Castro Valley, California (May 25, 2020) – One person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Monday afternoon in Castro Valley, police said.
The accident transpired at about 3:38 p.m. on westbound Heyer Avenue, just west of Cull Canyon Road.
According to the authorities, a white Chevrolet Impala collided with a motorcycle on the roadway. The reasons that contributed to the crash are yet to be established.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found a male rider down in the bicycle lane.
One victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
More details about the crash were not immediately available.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
“Far too many motorcycle collisions are caused by the carelessness or recklessness of other motorists.
