1 Hospitalized after Victorville truck Crash at 5th Avenue and Bear Valley Road

Victorville, California (March 23, 2020) – One person was hospitalized Friday morning after a traffic accident at an intersection in Victorville, according to a local news source.

The accident happened at around 8:12 a.m. Friday, March 20 at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Bear Valley Road.

As per the report, a large box truck was heading westbound on Bear Valley while an SUV was traveling eastbound on the same road. The SUV tried to make a left turn onto Fifth Avenue against a red light and collided with the box truck.

The male driver of the SUV sustained head injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. His name and condition at this time were not provided.

The truck driver declined medical transportation to the hospital.

Westbound lanes of Bear Valley Road were shut down following the crash.

An investigation by the Victorville Police Department is underway.

According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Truck accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
