Toyota Pickup Truck and Jaguar Involved in Half Moon Bay major Injury Collision on Highway 1

Half Moon Bay, California (June 20, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the circumstances that led to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 1, just north of Tunitas Creek Road, in Half Moon Bay Friday morning.

One person was hospitalized at Stanford Hospital with serious injuries, and two others suffered minor hurts after a Toyota pickup truck collided with a Jaguar in the northbound lanes of Highway 1 (Cabrillo Highway) shortly before noon.

The wreck resulted in the closure of Highway 1 in both directions for about an hour as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the mishap is underway.
