CHP Investigating Coalinga Major Injury Head-On Accident on W Jayne Avenue near Sutter Avenue

Coalinga, California (June 15, 2020) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a head-on collision near east of Sutter Avenue in Coalinga at about 4:54 p.m.

As per the report, a pickup truck veered into the westbound lane of the W Jayne Avenue and crashed head-on into a semi Saturday afternoon.

The semi blocked the roadway and debris scattered in the highway upon the impact.

Meanwhile, the current condition and the identity of the patient have not yet been released thus far.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
