Male Cyclist Killed in Clearlake Bicycle Accident at Highway 53 and Dam Road
Clearlake, California (June 1, 2020) – A male cyclist was hit and killed by a vehicle on Sunday night in Clearlake, according to authorities.
At about 10:40 p.m., on May 31, the California Highway Patrol responded to the deadly at Highway 53 and Dam Road.
For unknown reasons, a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle while he was cycling on the roadway, the CHP said.
Sadly, the cyclist succumbed to his injuries at the crash site.
Traffic on the roadway was temporarily stopped following the accident.
More details about the mishap were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.

Sadly, when this occurs, motorcyclists are the ones who tend to suffer the vast majority of injuries”, according to Arin Khodaverdian, Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group.
