2 Semi-Trucks and Car Involved in Ontario Fatal Traffic Accident on 10 Freeway at Archibald Avenue

At Least 1 Killed in Ontario Big Rigs and Car Crash on 10 Freeway near Archibald Avenue

Ontario, California (June 16, 2020) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, at least one victim died at the scene after two semi-trucks and a car crashed near Ontario International Airport in Ontario Tuesday morning.

The manner in which the fatal crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of 10 Freeway at Archibald Avenue at around 9:30 a.m. was not immediately established at the time of the report.

The car driver was trapped inside the wreckage after the vehicle got stuck in between the semis.

Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.

Two of the involved automobiles were towed away from the scene by tow trucks.

Meanwhile, all eastbound lanes were shut down for about two hours as police and emergency crews worked to investigate and clear the scene.
