Authorities Investigating Dulzura Fatal Head-On Accident on Route 94 and Summit Road

Dulzura, California (June 27, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to a fatal head-on crash in the rural East County community of Dulzura at about 7:00 a.m.

Officials said one person died at the scene and two others were seriously hurt after two vehicles collided head-on at the intersection of Route 94 and Summit Road Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, Route 94 was shut down for an unknown time following the mishap.

The fatal accident remains under an active investigation.
