Rider Seriously Hurt in Motorcycle Accident on Marsh Creek Road in Brentwood

Rider Airlifted after Brentwood Motorcycle Crash on Marsh Creek Road near Deer Valley Road

Brentwood, California (April 19, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Sunday afternoon motorcycle crash that left one person seriously injured in Brentwood.

At about 12:34 p.m., the police responded to a motorcycle accident on Marsh Creek Road, just east of Deer Valley Road in unincorporated Contra Costa County.

A motorcycle, for unknown reasons, collided with an SUV on the roadway, according to the police.

The impact of the crash caused the motorcyclist to be thrown into a roadside fence.

The rider was flown to a hospital with injuries, including a broken leg.

Traffic on Marsh Creek Road was stopped for about an hour.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.

“Far too many motorcycle collisions are caused by the carelessness or recklessness of other motorists. Sadly, when this occurs, motorcyclists are the ones who tend to suffer the vast majority of injuries”, according to Arin Khodaverdian, Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group. Under California’s rule of comparative negligence, a victim may be able to collect compensation for injuries and other damages even if you were partly at fault for the accident.
