Woman Injured in Bakersfield Pedestrian Accident at 34th and Panama Streets Wednesday evening
Bakersfield, California (April 16, 2020) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening in Bakersfield, police said.
Shortly before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, officers received a report of the accident at the intersection of 34th and Panama streets.
According to reports, a woman was hit by a vehicle for unknown reasons at the Bakersfield intersection.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the woman suffering from moderate injuries as a result of the accident. Her name and current condition were not disclosed.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and was cooperative, police said.
An investigation by the Bakersfield Police Department is underway.
