Woman and Child Killed in Yuba City Head-On Crash on Highway 99 near Hutchinson Road
Yuba City, California (April 18, 2020) – A 24-year-old mother and her 2-year-old daughter died after their Dodge Caravan collided head-on with a Jeep Liberty on Highway 99, near Hutchinson Road in Yuba City at around 4:40 a.m. Saturday, April 18.
The initial report indicated that the Dodge was traveling northbound on SR-99 when it drifted into the southbound lanes prior to the collision.
The Jeep operator, a 50-year-old woman, was rushed to Rideout Emergency room by Officers from Sutter County Fire Department for medication.
More details regarding the accident will be released after the California Highway Patrol completes the investigation.
