Daniel Castellaw Seriously Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass

Daniel Castellaw Hospitalized after 15 Freeway Accident in Cajon Pass

Cajon Pass, California (April 22, 2020) – Four people were hospitalized Thursday morning following a two-vehicle crash in Cajon Pass, according to a local news source.

The wreck occurred at about 5:15 a.m. Thursday, April 16 on 15 Freeway, just south of Oak Hill Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP said Christian Martinez, 25, of Moreno Valley, was driving northbound on the 15 freeway at 70 mph when his gray Toyota Prius was rear-ended by a 2017 Red Ford Mustang that was traveling at an unknown speed. The force of the impact sent both vehicles down the embankment.

The Mustang’s driver, Daniel Castellaw, 18, of Apple Valley, and his two juvenile passengers, were transported to a local hospital with major injuries.

Authorities said Martinez had minor injuries and was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the crash is underway.

Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call Officer C Dane from the San Bernardino CHP office at 909-383-4247.

According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary to clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.

What to Do At the Accident Scene
