1 Man Killed in Anza Motorcycle Accident on Highway 371 near Highway 74
Anza, California (April 15, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday afternoon motorcycle crash that killed one person in Anza.
The deadly accident happened on Highway 371, east of Burnt Valley Road, and less than a mile west of state Route 74, at about 3:00 p.m.
The police said a car, for unknown reasons, collided with a motorcycle on the highway.
One person was declared dead at the scene following the accident while another person was taken to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment.
Following the accident, the roadway was closed for at least two hours.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
“Far too many motorcycle collisions are caused by the carelessness or recklessness of other motorists. Sadly, when this occurs, motorcyclists are the ones who tend to suffer the vast majority of injuries”, according to Arin Khodaverdian, Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group. Under California’s rule of comparative negligence, a victim may be able to collect compensation for injuries and other damages even if you were partly at fault for the accident.
