Woman Hospitalized after 3-Car Accident at Main and 13th Streets in Ramona

Woman Injured in Ramona Crash at Main and 13th Streets Tuesday afternoon

Ramona, California (September 10, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon with injuries she sustained in a traffic accident involving three vehicles in Ramona, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash took place at around 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Main and 13th Streets.

According to the CHP, a grey Nissan was traveling southbound on Main Street when it collided with a Toyota Camry driven by an 18-year-old Ramona man, who was making a left turn from northbound Main Street onto 13th Street.

The force of the impact caused the Nissan to roll into a white Honda that was preparing to turn right onto Main Street from 13th Street.

One of the parties involved, a woman, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Pomerado Hospital. However, her name and current condition were not immediately released.

No further details were given regarding the crash.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
