Possible Injuries in Grass Valley Car Accident on Golden Chain Highway 49
Nevada County, California (September 11, 2019) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, possible injuries were reported in Nevada County on Wednesday morning.
The Grass Valley crash was reported at about 8:35 a.m. September 11, on Golden Chain Highway 49, near Cherry Creek Road.
As per the CHP report, the accident involved a small grey Toyota 4-door sedan and a light-colored SUV. The initial report indicated that the driver of the sedan was reckless driving prior to making an illegal U-turn and colliding with the SUV. Due to the impact, one of the vehicle’s crashed into a tree, and the other was blocking a southbound lane.
Paramedics responded to the scene shortly after the crash to help those who might have been injured.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP.
