Philo Man Injured in Collision with Propane Truck on Highway 128 in Boonville

65-Year-Old Philo Man Hospitalized after Boonville Truck Accident on Highway 128 near Highway 153

Boonville, California (September 13, 2019) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, a 65-year-old Philo man was hospitalized Wednesday morning with injuries he sustained when his vehicle collided with a propane truck in Boonville.

The wreck happened just before 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11 on Highway 128 near Highway 153.

As per the CHP report, the Philo man was driving a 2014 Volvo westbound on Highway 128 when for an unknown reason, he allowed his vehicle to cross the double yellow lines and collided with an eastbound 2012 Peterbilt propane truck that was attempting to turn onto Highway 153.

The Volvo driver was transported to Adventist Health Ukiah Valley for treatment of minor injuries. The operator of the propane truck refused medical aid.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
