Injuries Sustained in 5 Freeway Car Collision near Sutterville Road in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (September 17, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a multi-vehicle accident that happened Tuesday morning in the Pocket area of Sacramento, a local news source reported.
The incident took place at around 7:15 a.m. on northbound Interstate 5 just south of Sutterville Road.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol officers said the accident involved three or four vehicles.
An ambulance responded to the scene to help an unknown number of parties who sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Authorities closed the two right lanes of the freeway at 7:45 a.m. because tow trucks were not able to move at least one of the vehicles. The lanes were reopened at about 8:15 a.m.
CHP is investigating the collision.
