Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Traffic Crash on Lacey Boulevard in Leemore

Rider Sustains Major Injuries in Leemore Motorcycle Accident on Lacey Boulevard near 18 ¾ Avenue

Leemore, California (September 4, 2019) – A motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries following a traffic collision on Lacey Boulevard near 18 ¾ Avenue in Leemore Tuesday morning.

The crash took place at around 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, September 3.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 33-year-old Hanford man was riding a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Lacey Boulevard when he collided with a westbound 2006 Chevrolet operated by a 37-year-old Laton man.

As a result of the crash, the Hanford man was ejected from his bike, and both vehicles came to a rest in a cotton field southwest of the intersection.

The motorcyclist was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries. The name and condition of the rider at this time are unknown.

Alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
