Motorcyclist Injured in Richmond Crash on 80 Freeway

Rider Hospitalized after 80 Freeway Accident in Richmond

Richmond, California (September 22, 2019) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, a motorcycle rider was hospitalized Friday afternoon with injuries sustained in a traffic accident in Richmond.

The accident occurred at about 2:20 p.m. Friday, September 20 in the eastbound lanes of the Interstate 80 Freeway at Carlson Boulevard off-ramp.

The crash involved a motorcycle and three other vehicles. Details of what led up to the accident are unknown at this time.

The fully dressed motorcyclist was found lying down on the roadway by emergency responders. The male rider was immediately transported to John Muir Medical Center for treatment. However, his name and condition at this time were not immediately disclosed.
