Rider Injured in Woodland Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Accident on 80 Freeway
Woodland, California (September 21, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hurt in an alleged hit-and-run collision in Woodland on Friday evening, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The motorcycle collision which happened shortly before 6:00 p.m. September 20, occurred on the Interstate 80 Freeway near Olive Drive off-ramp.
The CHP said a man riding a motorcycle collided with a vehicle of unspecified built on the westbound lanes of the freeway for unknown reasons.
The motorcyclist sustained unspecified injuries in the crash. The victim was attended to by paramedics who arrived at the scene shortly after the wreck.
The identity and current condition of the wounded party have not yet been released to this time.
The driver involved in the mishap evaded the scene before police arrived.
Authorities are reportedly investigating the case as a hit-and-run.
