Marsino Salas Killed in Fresno Bicycle Accident on East Lacey Boulevard near Bowling Alley
Fresno, California (September 1, 2019) – The man who was hit by a drunk driver while riding a bicycle Thursday night, August 29, on East Lacey Boulevard near bowling alley in Fresno has died, according to family members.
According to the Hanford police, 55-year-old Marsino Salas was riding a bicycle when he was hit by Desiree Parker, 32.
Parker left Salas in the middle of the roadway and fled the scene.
Salas was taken to the hospital with serious head injuries where he died Friday night.
Parker was tracked down and pulled over. She had her two children, a 2-year-old and 4-year-old in the car at the time of the accident.
She was booked into the Kings County jail for child endangerment, hit and run, and DUI.
Child Protective Services took the kids.
An investigation is underway.
