Laurie Trejo Injured in San Luis Obispo Motorcycle Accident on Highway 58
San Luis Obispo, California (September 13, 2019) – A motorcyclist who was injured in a collision on Wednesday morning in San Luis Obispo has been identified.
The California Highway Patrol said that the accident occurred at around 9:10 a.m. September 11, on Highway 58 near West Pozo Road.
34-year-old Laurie A. Trejo, a Santa Margarita resident, was riding a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on Highway 58. At the same time, 35-year-old Bill W. Keulen of Paso Robles was driving 2014 Dodge eastbound on the roadway.
Keulen was trying to pass a slow-moving dump truck when the Dodge hit the bike.
Trejo was ejected from the motorcycle after the collision.
Trejo suffered serious injuries in the collision and was hospitalized.
Keulen did not stop after the accident but was later located and arrested at his home.
He is likely to face charges including felony hit-and-run.

The police are investigating the accident.
