Fahad Alogaily ID’d as 1 of 2 Victims Killed in Moreno Valley Car Accident on 60 Freeway near Gilman Springs Road
Moreno Valley, California (September 7, 2019) – Fahad Alogaily, 18, has been identified as one of the two people who died in a traffic accident that occurred in Moreno Valley Thursday afternoon.
The fatal crash took place at around 1:10 p.m. Thursday, September 5 on 60 Freeway near Gilman Springs Road.
According to a local news source, Mitchell Finesod, 55, of Moreno Valley, was driving a white 1993 Corvette westbound on the 60 Freeway when he drifted into the eastbound lanes to pass slow traffic.
For an unknown reason, Finesod’s vehicle clipped the right front wheel of a big rig. As a result of the collision, Finesod lost control of his car and collided with an eastbound black Jaguar SUV.
Two occupants of the SUV, Alogaily and a 20-year-old man, were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people in the SUV sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Finesod was taken to Riverside University Health System Hospital in Moreno Valley with non-life threatening injuries. He was later taken into custody by the authorities.
The crash remained under investigation.
