Woman Killed in Bicycle Accident on Fairground Drive Drive near Gateway Drive in Vallejo
Vallejo, California (September 21, 2019) – A 66-year-old woman was killed in a bicycle accident in Vallejo on Saturday morning.
According to a local news report, the fatal accident happened at about 1:20 a.m. on Fairgrounds Drive near Gateway Drive.
The elderly woman was reportedly riding her bike on Fairgrounds Drive when she was struck by a northbound Toyota Prius driven by a 25-year-old man from American Canyon.
The bicyclist was seriously injured and was rushed to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
No further information was provided regarding the incident.
The police are investigating the crash.
