1 Killed in Menlo Park Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101
Menlo Park, California (September 4, 2019) – Authorities said a driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Wednesday on Highway 101 in Menlo Park.
The crash happened just before 1:30 a.m.
Authorities said a Honda SUV rear-ended a flat-bed truck on the highway. The impact caused the Honda to roll over and come to a stop near the right shoulder.
The driver of the Honda was declared dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.
The crash closed one lane of southbound Highway 101 near Marsh Road and the on-ramps to 101 from both east- and west-bound Highway 84.
The closures are expected to be reopened around 8:00 a.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
