Valley Glen, California (September 16, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a traffic crash that left a crossing guard and a teenage pedestrian hurt on Monday morning in Valley Glen, near Van Nuys, according to a local news source.

The crash happened a while before 7:20 a.m. Monday, in 13400 block of West Vanowen Street.

As per the report, a crossing guard and a teenage pedestrian were hit by a vehicle for reasons still under investigation.

Responding paramedics transported the woman and the teenager to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The name of the patients and their current condition were not immediately released.

Officials confirmed the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
