Bradley Huss Injured in Fatal Head-On Crash on State Route 299 in Willow Creek

Bradley Huss ID’d as Victim Injured in Willow Creek Car Accident on Highway 299 near West Ranch Road

Willow Creek, California (September 19, 2019) – The person who was injured Wednesday morning in a traffic accident that left two other people dead in Willow Creek has been identified as Bradley Huss, 35, of Redding.

The accident occurred at around 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, September 18 on Highway 299 near West Ranch Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Mazda Sedan was heading eastbound on State Route 299 at an unsafe speed for wet roadway conditions when the driver lost control of the vehicle and drifted into the westbound lane where it collided head-on with a 2010 Chevrolet armored truck operated by Huss.

The driver and passenger in the Mazda died in the accident. Both are foreign nationals and their identifications are being withheld pending notification of families.

Huss suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash.

Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected factors in the accident.
