Boy Struck and Injured by Car at La Salle Avenue and Cashmere Street in San Francisco

Teenage Boy Hurt in San Francisco Accident at La Salle Avenue and Cashmere Street

San Francisco, California (September 19, 2019) – Authorities are investigating a 17-year-old boy hurt in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Tuesday morning in Bayview District neighborhood, San Francisco.

The collision occurred at about 9:13 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, at La Salle Avenue and Cashmere Street.

As per the report, the teenager was crossing at the intersection when he was struck by a vehicle for unknown reasons.

The boy suffered non-life threatening injuries as a result of the accident. The teenage boy was transported to a hospital for further treatment.

The victim’s name and their current condition were not immediately provided.

Officials said that involved motorist did not stop to render aid and fled the scene after the collision.

Officials are still searching for the suspect.

An investigation by the California Highway Patrol is underway.
