Boy Injured in Bicycle Accident at Alameda Avenue and Lake Street in Burbank

Burbank, California (September 21, 2019) – A 16-year-old boy was injured after being hit by a vehicle as he rode a bicycle in Burbank on Thursday evening.

As per a local news report, the accident occurred at around 7:20 p.m. September 19, at Alameda Avenue and Lake Street.

The boy was reportedly riding a bicycle near the intersection when a 1996 Toyota Corolla driven by a 46-year-old man struck him.

The boy suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

No other information was provided.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
