3 Seriously Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 101 in Marin

2 Children and Woman Seriously Injured in Marin County Car Crash on Highway 101

Marin, California (September 19, 2019) – Three people were seriously injured in a traffic accident in Marin County on Wednesday morning.

The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred at about 8:20 a.m. September 18, on Highway 101 near Miller Creek Road in Marin.

A woman and her two children were traveling northbound in a Toyota RAV4 when for unknown reasons, they collided with another vehicle.

The Toyota rolled down an embankment after the collision.

Good Samaritans pulled out the woman and two children from the car before it caught fire.

Both children were transported to UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital with serious injuries.

The woman was taken to John Walnut Creek Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

The identities of the three victims were not immediately disclosed.

No further information concerning the crash was provided.

An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
