2 Pedestrians Struck, Injured by Vehicle at Raymond Avenue and West California Boulevard in Pasadena

2 Women Injured in Pasadena Pedestrian Accident at Raymond Avenue and West California Boulevard

Pasadena, California (September 12, 2019) – According to a local news report, two pedestrians were struck and injured by a vehicle in Pasadena Wednesday afternoon.

The accident occurred shortly after noon Wednesday, September 11 at the southeast corner of Raymond Avenue and West California Boulevard.

As per the local news report, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason at the Pasadena intersection. The force of the impact sent one of the cars into a crosswalk where it hit two pedestrians.

Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one of the pedestrians.

The freed person, a woman believed to be in her late 80s, was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries.  The other pedestrian, a 26-year-old woman, was also taken to a hospital with scrapes and bruises.

The two drivers, a young woman and an older man, were not injured in the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
