2 Hospitalized After Napa DUI Car Crash on State Highway 29 Near Tower Road

2 Seriously Hurt in DUI Car Accident on State Highway 29 near Tower Road in Napa, Kayla Clark Arrested

Napa, California (September 17, 2019) – According to a California Highway Patrol report, two people were badly injured in a suspected DUI wrong-way collision early Sunday morning in Napa County.

The crash happened at about 2:08 a.m. September 15, on State Highway 29 near Tower Road.

The CHP said 36-year-old Kayla Nicole Kim Clark of Vallejo was driving a 2015 Chevy Malibu southbound in the No. 1 lane of northbound SR-29 at Tower Road when she collided head-on with a 2019 Kia Forte sedan driven by a 48-year-old Napa man.

Due to the impact, both Clark and the other driver were trapped inside their cars and had to be extricated from the wreckage by firefighters along with the American Canyon Fire Department.

The two victims were then rushed to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa with major injuries.

The CHP affirmed that alcohol was a factor in at the time of the collision. Kim Clark was taken into custody at the hospital.

The crash is under investigation.
