2 Airlifted after Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Twisselman Road in Lost Hills

2 Hurt in Lost Hills Crash on 5 Freeway near Twisselman Road

Lost Hills, California (September 21, 2019) – Two people were flown after a traffic crash on Friday afternoon in the area of Lost Hills, according to a local news source.

The crash happened at around 5:05 p.m. Friday, September 20, on southbound 5 Freeway at Twissleman Road.

As per the report, five to six vehicles including a Range Rover and a Mercedes crashed for reasons still under investigation. One of the vehicles went off the roadway following the collision.

Firefighters along with medical personnel attended to two persons who suffered severe injuries as a result of the crash. The patients were airlifted to the hospital for treatment. The name of the patients and their current condition were not immediately released.

Authorities said the Range Rover sustained moderate rear-end damage while the Mercedes went over the embankment as a result of the crash.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.

An investigation is underway.
