1 Injured in Laytonville Accident on Highway 101 near Ten Mile Creek

Laytonville, California (September 12, 2019) – One person sustained injuries after a traffic collision Thursday evening in Laytonville, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was logged a while before 5:30 p.m. Thursday, September 12, on Highway 101 near Ten Mile Creek Road.

As per the CHP officials, a Pontiac Grand Am and a Ford Ranger collided for reasons yet to be determined. The Ford Ranger sustained major front-end damage while one of the vehicles went over an embankment following the collision.

Responding paramedics attended to one person who suffered minor injuries in the crash. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.

It was not immediately clear if the victim was transported to the hospital for further treatment.

An investigation is ongoing.
