Trevis Sloan Identified as Man Killed in Bonsall Motorcycle Accident on State Route 76 at Sweetgrass Lane
Bonsall, California (October 22, 2019) – The San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist who died in a traffic accident that happened Saturday evening in Bonsall as Trevis Sloan, 43, of San Bernardino.
The fatal motorcycle accident occurred at around 6:38 p.m. Saturday, October 19 on westbound State Route 76 at the intersection of Sweetgrass Lane.
According to the authorities, Sloan was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound on State Route 76 east of Sweetgrass Lane when he collided with a Chevrolet Silverado towing a horse trailer turning westbound onto State Route 76 from southbound Sweetgrass Lane.
Sloan was transported to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido, where he was pronounced dead.
The Silverado driver, identified as a 24-year-old Hemet woman and her two passengers were uninjured in the accident.
The accident remains under investigation by California Highway Patrol.
