Miguel Barragan Accident on Central Avenue in Chino

Hemet Motorcyclist Killed in Chino Crash on Central Avenue Identified

Chino, California (November 5, 2019) – 32-year-old Miguel Angel Barragan, of Hemet, died in a traffic collision that happened Monday afternoon in Chino, a local news source reported.

As per the article, the incident occurred at about 5:41 p.m. on southbound Central Avenue, south of Philadelphia Street.

The collision involved Barragan’s Honda motorcycle and a Chevy Express van.

According to authorities, Barragan was riding the motorcycle southbound on Central Avenue when a 70-year-old man from Chino driving the van made a left turn into a shopping center.

Barragan broadsided the van, Officer Siegfried Azarcon said.

Chino Valley Fire District paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the motorcyclist dead at 5:49 p.m.

Authorities said intoxication is not suspected at this time.

An investigating into the crash is ongoing.
