Yoko Beers ID’d as Woman Killed in Fountain Valley Two-Vehicle Crash
Fountain Valley, California (August 22, 2019) – The woman who died days later after she was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Fountain Valley has been identified as Yoko Beers, 86, of Santa Ana.
The crash took place on Thursday, August 8, at about 3:57 p.m. The exact location of the crash was not mentioned in the report.
CHP said an SUV and a pickup truck collided for unknown reasons.
Beers, who was a passenger in the SUV, was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center with major injuries where she died on Wednesday morning.
Several other people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to life-threatening.
The crash remains under investigation.
