Motorcyclist Killed in Three-Vehicle Crash on East Pleasant Road in Camarillo

1 Killed and 2 Injured in Camarillo Three-Vehicle Crash on East Pleasant Road

Camarillo, California (August 21, 2019) – Officials said a person was killed and two others were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday around 7:45 a.m. in Camarillo.

The crash happened on East Pleasant Road near South Las Posas Road.

Officials said the crash involved a motorcycle, a sedan, and a semitrailer. The circumstances under which the collision occurred were not immediately established.

One of the vehicles caught fire in the collision.

The motorcyclist was killed in the crash.

Responding firefighters had to extricate a person who was trapped in the wreckage. That person was taken to the Los Robles Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The driver of the semitrailer was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The crash closed Pleasant Valley Road from Los Posas Road to East Fifth Street for several hours.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
