3 Killed and 2 Injured in Multi-Vehicle Car Crash on Oakdale-Waterford Highway in Modesto
Modesto, California (August 31, 2019) – Three people were killed and another two were injured in a multi-vehicle accident in Modesto, Stanislaus County, on Wednesday night.
Authorities said that the deadly crash took place at about 9:50 p.m. on Oakdale-Waterford Highway
As per a local news report, a Chevy Camaro, a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta and a Hyundai were involved in the crash.
According to the report, 21-year-old Jorge Manuel Flores was driving a Camaro southbound when for unknown reasons he veered into the northbound lanes and crashed into an oncoming Volkswagen Jetta driven by a 29-year-old Snelling man in the company of a 60-year-old Parlier woman.
A few minutes later, a Hyundai driven by 33-year-old Luis Seguraaredondo accompanied by 59-year-old Javier Napole of Fresno, collided with the Camaro in the northbound lanes.
Jimenez, the driver of the Jetta and his passenger were killed in the collision
The occupants of the Hyundai suffered serious injuries and were rushed to nearby local hospitals.
No further information about the crash was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
