Fatal Train Crash in Albany

Fatality Reported in Albany Train Accident

Albany, CA (August 21, 2019) – Police officers responded to a fatal train crash on Tuesday Morning, August 20, at around 7:07 a.m. in Albany, according to a police report.

The train was heading from Sacramento to San Diego.

The Alameda County Coroner’s aid a Capitol Corridor train collided with a vehicle on the trucks.

Fatalities were reported in the crash.

There were no injuries to the passengers and crew members on the train.

No other details of the crash were immediately released.

The incident is still under investigation.
