Authorities Identify 4 Killed in 2-Car Accident at 30th Street West and West Avenue H
Lancaster, California (August 16, 2019) – Four people were killed in a violent two-car crash in Lancaster. The deadly accident happened at around noon Wednesday, August 14 at the intersection of Avenue H and 30th Street West.
According to a local news source, a Toyota Avalon was traveling westbound on Avenue H when it allegedly ran a red light and hit a Volkswagen Jetta that was heading northbound.
The Jetta then went off the roadway and crashed into a signal pole, ejecting all the three occupants – a man and two women.
Victor Ocampo, 59, of Lancaster, who was riding in the Volkswagen, died at the scene. Samantha Kathline Jensen, 26, of Lancaster was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, Thomas Saint Andrew, 41, of Lancaster, was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Wendy Marie Fisher, 38, of Lancaster, who was also riding in the Volkswagen, died at the hospital.
Two dogs in the Jetta were also killed in the accident.
It’s undetermined if alcohol or drugs were factors in the collision.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
