2 Hurt in Los Angeles Car Accident on westbound 10 Freeway
Los Angeles, California (August 25, 2019) – According to a local news source, two people were injured after a police chase ended in a traffic crash at about 11:47 p.m. Thursday, August 22 on westbound 10 Freeway in Los Angeles.
Police were in pursuit of a suspect driving a black Dodge Challenger on the westbound 10 Freeway before the suspect exited onto Robertson Boulevard.
The suspect failed to stop at a red light off the freeway and crashed into another vehicle near the intersection. The Challenger struck a metal post a few feet away from a gas station before coming to rest.
An occupant of the vehicle struck by the suspect suffered minor injuries in the crash. The passenger in the suspect’s vehicle was also injured as a result of the accident.
The suspected fled the scene, but was later arrested.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
