10-Year-Old Heather Durham Victim of Motorcycle Versus Pedestrian Crash in San Bernardino

Heather Durham Identified as Victim of Fatal San Bernardino Crash at Sierra Way and 18th Street

San Bernardino, California (August 28, 2019) – 10-year-old Heather Durham died in a motorcycle versus pedestrian accident that happened Tuesday afternoon in San Bernardino.

According to a report by the San Bernardino Police Department, the accident occurred at about 3:23 p.m. at the intersection of Sierra Way and 18th Street.

As per the report, Durham, a San Bernardino resident, was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle when the bike entered the intersection and struck a 14-year-old San Bernardino teenager pedestrian.

Durham and the teen pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries and were rushed to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Sadly, both victims did not survive their injuries as they were pronounced dead at the hospital.

The condition of the motorcyclist was not mentioned.

Authorities are investigating the accident.
