Two Workers Injured in Antioch Pedestrian Accident Thursday, Suspected DUI Driver Arrested

Antioch, California – An Antioch pedestrian accident that occurred in the 3100 block of Garrow Drive on Thursday morning, two workers were injured according to the Antioch Police Department.

On September 17, at around 11:24 am, the victims were working on the side of the roadway when they were hit by a vehicle.

At least one of the victims suffered major injuries and was taken to the trauma center. Meanwhile, the other victim sustained a hip injury.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
