Two Hospitalized after University Avenue Wrong-Way Crash in North Park

North Park, California -A University Avenue wrong-way crash in North Park injured two people on Wednesday night according to the San Diego police.

At around 11 pm, a driver crashed into parked cars and then tried to flee the scene.

Later, the driver turned into the wrong side of the roadway and collided with an oncoming car.

The driver tried to flee away on foot but was caught and detained by witnesses until the authorities arrived.

Suspected DUI, the driver was taken to the hospital, following the accident.

Meanwhile, a woman who was in the car sustained minor injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation by the police.
