2 Injured in Bakersfield Crash on Santa Fe Way
Two Hospitalized after Bakersfield Head-On Collision on Santa Fe Way
Bakersfield, California – A Bakersfield head-on accident on Santa Fe Way that occurred on Sunday morning injured two people according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling north on Santa Fe Way when it collided head-on with an oncoming Ford Escape that crossed the centerline into its path.
Following the collision, the impact caused the Escape to roll over.
Two people sustained moderate injuries and were taken to the local hospital for treatment.
Due to the accident, the Santa Fe Way and Renfro Road intersection was closed for nearly 45 minutes.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
