Pedestrian Killed in Highway 101 Crash in Ventura Sunday Night

Ventura, California – One person was killed in the crash that occurred on Highway 101 involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Sunday night.

On August 23 at around 8:54 pm the collision was reported by the California Highway Patrol, north of Victoria Avenue.

CHP stated that one pedestrian was struck in the northbound lanes of the highway.

The victim was declared dead at the crash scene, however, his identification was not revealed immediately.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
